The deep relaxation of a Reiki session moves your nervous system from the ‘sympathetic’ (fight or flight/coping) mode, into the ‘parasympathetic’ (rest –digest/healing) mode. Our energy is replenished only when our bodies are truly at rest. Our ‘rest’ usually involves sitting in front of screens at the end of our busy day.
